Summer Hair Care ☼

Summer's almost here so i wanted to share my tips to keep your hair looking health.
First off here's some thing to avoid during the summer...
  • Keep heat tools to a minimum; using a blow dyer or flat iron everyday is bad enough but add that with the heat your hair gets from the sun and your heat damage could get worse.
  • Limit products for volume and avoid products with alcohol; They dry out your hair. You can still use your volumizing products just not as often.
  • Try not to shampoo hair everyday; Summer or winter you shouldn't do it. Shampooing strips the natural oils from your hair and can leave it dry and brittle.
  • DO NOT let salt/chlorine water sit in your hair; Can damage the crap out of your hair and strip away color. After swimming you should always rinse/wash out your hair.... A trick for swimming is to wet your hair before you get in the water and put in a little leave-in conditioner, this way your hair will not absorb the chlorine or salt water. There are also products made to be put in hair before your swim.

Here's some thing to try...
  • Moisturizing shampoos
  • Dry shampoos; instead of washing hair daily
  • Deep Conditioner/Hair Mask; once or twice a week protein masks are great.
  • If you have very oily hair try a clarifying shampoo once in a while.
  • Try to get your hair trimmed every 6 months; even if your trying to grow it out.
  • Use leave-in conditioners; Try some with an SPF.
  • Drink lots for water; believe it or not it will help your skin and hair<3
  • Wear hats or put hair up in a bun; this way less of your hair is exposed to the sun.
  • For really frizzy hair put some jojoba oil on problem areas, wrap it and let it sit over night, then rinse in the morning.

Have some fun in the sun; & dont forget your sunscreen =]

Beauties Factory 120 Netural Palette ♥

Rating: 5-5

This is my favorite out of all the 120 palettes
I find myself reaching for it everyday...
Just like the other 120's, it has a mix of matte and shimmer
Most of them are matte; which i love.
Shadows are very pigmented....
Highly recommend this palette!!!!
I ordered mine from Beauties Factory
It was 26.99 USD and shipping was 2.00 USD.
My palette was packaged very well with bubble wrap.

Two layers filled with warm & cool browns, pinks, taupe's,
bronze, olive, violet, gold, & silvers...

Some colors are a little washed out because of the camera.

Review: Fekkai Hair Product

Frederic Fekkai Review:

About two months ago i purchased 2 Fekkai products
Under the photos of the products i put where i bought it and how much they cost.
Of course these are not the only places to buy them........
  • Fekkai Glossing Cream (4 oz)
  • Fekkai Protein Rx Anti-Breakage Mask (5.5 oz)

Fekkai Glossing Cream
I apply the Glossing Cream to damp hair. It really makes your hair super soft and shiny. The only thing that i don't like is that it has some shimmer in it and it gets all over my hands. BUT it works wonders on my hair and love the fact that it has Olive Oil in it. The bottle says that you can also apply it to dry hair but its really easy to over do it and make your hair greasy. Overall its a great glossing cream and i would buy over and over again...

Cons: The shimmer in the cream, The Price

On The Back: Sheer styling cream with pure olive oil the helps eliminate frizz and adds moisture and shine to all hair types... Apply "pea size" amount to damp or dry hair.

Fekkai Protien Rx Anti-Breakage Mask

I use the Anti-Breakage Mask about once a week. I apply a small amount to the ends of my hair and leave it in for 10-15 mins. I saw and felt a difference in my hair after about 3 uses. My split ends were not as noticeable and my hair looked healthier. Overall I love this product...

Cons: Price =/

On the back: Intensive soy and milk protein mask that helps mend and prevents breaks and splits in heat-damage, over-processed hair... Use 1-2 times a week. Apply to clean, damp hair. Leave on 10-15 mins. Rinse well.
